Blue Ivy Carter was ready for her Met Gala moment.

The 14-year-old daughter of Beyoncé and Jay-Z made her debut at the iconic fashion event on May 4, dazzling in Balenciaga while appearing alongside her parents.

Her first Met Gala coincided with Beyoncé’s return to the event for the first time in 10 years, as the “Texas Hold ‘Em” singer was one of four co-chairs of the annual affair at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City.

Blue Ivy wore a billowing white gown with a long train that had a matching jacket, all of which was designed by Balenciaga.

She also had on sunglasses and silver stiletto heels as she posed alongside Jay-Z, who looked dapper in a black suit by Louis Vuitton, and Beyoncé, who stunned in a diamond-encrusted skeletal gown that was custom-made by Olivier Rousteing.

Blue Ivy’s appearance was surprising in that she is the rare minor to attend the event. Organizers told The Hollywood Reporter in 2018 that the Met Gala “is not an appropriate event for people under 18,” but exceptions are made for minors accompanied by their parents.

Beyoncé and Blue Ivy’s stepped out for fashion’s biggest night on Monday and made their mother-daughter debut at the event.

Blue Ivy was 4 years old the last time Beyoncé attended the Met Gala before Monday night, so her mother soaked in the special moment.

“It feels surreal because my daughter’s here,” Beyoncé told Vogue during a livestream of the event. “She looks so beautiful — it’s incredible to be able to share it with her.”

Blue Ivy looked like a seasoned veteran as she posed solo and with her parents.

“She was ready!” Beyoncé said on the livestream. “She is ready.”

The teen is no stranger to sharing the spotlight with her mother, as she joined Beyoncé onstage during her “Cowboy Carter Tour” in 2024 and posed with her on the red carpet in 2023 at the London premiere of her “Renaissance” concert film.

She also made her big screen debut as the voice of Kiara in the 2024 animated movie “Mufasa: The Lion King.”

Blue Ivy also has become known for her style, which she showed off in December while sitting courtside with Jay-Z at a Los Angeles Lakers game.
