Alix Earle addressed whether there’s any real tension between her and another podcaster during a May 12 visit to TODAY, celebrating Earle becoming one of the cover models for Sports Illustrated’s 2026 Swimsuit Issue.
Craig Melvin asked the 25-year-old TikTok star “what’s actually happening” between her and “another internet personality and podcaster.”
“Well, I’m trying to keep things pretty positive today, you know, we don’t have that much time here honestly, so it’s like, why ruin such a good day with something not so great?” Earle responded.
Craig followed up by asking if there was some “some sort of legitimate contentiousness” or if it’s “all been exaggerated.”
“No, it’s exaggerated. I love everyone,” she replied with a smile and laugh.
Craig responded, “I’m not buying it, but I’ll let you go. We’ll move on.”
Rumors of a potential feud between Earle and “Call Her Daddy” host Alex Cooper made headlines earlier this year. The conversation dates back to March 2025, when their business relationship severed and Earle’s “Hot Mess” podcast was no longer part of Cooper’s Unwell Network. The reason for the separation has not been made clear.
The “Call Her Daddy” host posted a TikTok video on April 13, 2026, in which she told Earle to either “get specific” about any feud between them or stop the “fake narrative” that the two had beef.
Earle responded with a short comment on Cooper’s video.
“Okay on it!!” Earle commented on Cooper’s TikTok post.
Cooper said in her April 13 video that Earle had been making “passive-aggressive” reposts and liking and commenting on content critical of Cooper.
Alex Cooper says social media spat with Alix Earle is ‘not a PR stunt'

Alex Cooper & Alix Earle Feud explained: What first sparked their messy rift?
Days earlier, on April 11, Earle had reposted a video on TikTok in which one user characterized Cooper as “an ambulance chaser” and called on women to stop making Cooper’s show “their first stop when something happens in their lives.”
“Alix Earle, hey girl, the passive-aggressive reposts and the likes and the commenting on things, I gotta call you out here,” Cooper said in her April 13 video.
“You’re going to need to get specific and just say what you gotta say about me,” she continued. “There’s no NDA, no one is stopping you. Stop hiding behind other people and just say it yourself. What’s the beef?”
In her video, Cooper didn’t share details of how or why their business relationship ended but said she has “nothing to hide.”
“I know what happened, and so do you. So talk,” Cooper said. “Unless the fake narrative that you’re creating happens to be way more interesting than truth. I have nothing to hide when it comes to you and me, so unless you actually have something to say, I’m out. This is over.”
