MIAMI – Police are on the lookout for the driver associated in a fatal strike-and-operate crash early Tuesday early morning in northwest Miami-Dade.
According to Miami-Dade police, about 6 a.m. a motor vehicle heading north on NW 22nd Avenue struck a man or woman on a scooter around NW 54th Street.
The individual on the scooter was killed. Law enforcement reported the car’s driver abandoned it immediately after the crash and ran off.
