MIAMI – A South Florida mother is in jail Wednesday evening immediately after her toddler is hospitalized with damaged bones.
Jamie Jean-Pierre, 24, is facing many prices, which include kid neglect.
Law enforcement say Jean-Pierre took her 4-month-previous daughter to the Joe Dimaggio Children’s Medical center, final week and when physicians examined the infant, they identified a number of fractures.
Law enforcement believe the baby’s mom waited at least 18 several hours just after the newborn was hurt to get her to the healthcare facility.
She is staying held on a $200,000 bond.
