MIAMI — A group of undercover officers assigned to the Miami-Dade Law enforcement Division ended up “relieved of obligation” this 7 days adhering to an ongoing investigation, a spokesperson for the company reported Friday.
Officials declined to determine the officers to CBS Information Miami or say what units they ended up assigned to, citing the character of the perform they experienced been executing.
“These officers operate in an undercover capability their names and assignments will not be released to avoid compromising their safety,” the spokesperson claimed in an electronic mail assertion.
.The Miami Herald, citing resources it did not discover, claimed it was four homicide detectives and a sergeant assigned to a Northside job pressure and that the probe centered on overtime pay abuses.
