“Saturday Night Live” is back!

Following an over four-month summer hiatus, the historic live comedy show is returning for Season 51, bringing a cast of beloved players and fresh faces to 30 Rockefeller Plaza.

After the previous season of “SNL” celebrated 50 years of laughs, creator Lorne Michaels vowed to “shake things up” around Studio 8H. Over the past several weeks, former cast members Ego Nwodim, Heidi Gardner, Michael Longfellow, Devon Walker and Emil Wakim revealed they will not be returning to the show. Meanwhile, new comics on the scene this season include Tommy Brennan, Jeremy Culhane, Kam Patterson and Veronika Slowikowska.

Yes, “SNL” Season 51 kicks off Saturday, Oct. 4, with host Bad Bunny and musical guest Doja Cat.

While Bad Bunny was the musical guest for the final episode of Season 50 in May, Saturday’s show marks the “Debí Tirar Más Fotos” rapper’s second time serving as host. His hosting debut in October 2023 during Season 49 led to several viral clips and characters.

A week before his sophomore hosting gig, Bad Bunny was announced as the headliner for the 2026 Super Bowl halftime show.

The first episode of “SNL” Season 51 will air live on NBC at 11:30 p.m. ET. The show will also be available to stream the next day on Peacock. (Peacock and TODAY.com share a parent company, NBCUniversal.)

Earlier this month, “SNL” revealed the show’s hosts and musical guests for the first three weeks of October.
