The stakes are getting high on “Dancing With the Stars.”
The Sept. 23, Week 2, episode of the dancing competition show kicked off with an opening number to “Gonna Make You Sweat (Everybody Dance Now)” by C+C Music Factory featuring Freedom Williams and choreographed by Emma Slater.
Co-hosts Alfonso Ribeiro and Julianne Hough made their way to the stage to welcome judges Bruno Tonioli and Derek Hough, as well as Carrie Ann Inaba, who missed last week’s premiere after being sick.
This week, the 14 couples danced their hearts out for “One Hit Wonder Night,” with two ultimately taking their last bow.

Who Was Eliminated During ‘DWTS’ Week 2?
Two couples were eliminated at the end of the night.
Corey Feldman and Jenna Johnson are now done with the competition. He said his partner was “amazing” and said she “deserved better.”
Baron Davis and Britt Stewart were also the other couple leaving the show. The athlete called his experience “amazing” and praised his partner for everything she taught him.
Who is at the top of the leaderboard?
One again, two couples are tied for first place after the second episode.
Robert Irwin and Witney Carson total scores after two weeks were 37 out of 50.
They had the same scores as Whitney Leavitt and Mark Ballas.
