Former “Bachelorette” contestant Tyler Cameron is joining Serhant in the brokerage’s Jupiter office.
He will be based in the office at 114 North Coastal Way, and will focus on the Jupiter and Hobe Sound markets, according to a press release. Cameron is a reality television star best known for appearing on Season 15 of “The Bachelorette” in 2019. Ryan Serhant said he told Cameron, a real estate investor and construction business owner, years ago that he should consider the agent business.
“We had breakfast, we met in Soho and I showed him Serhant House in New York,” Serhant said, adding that his New York-based firm doesn’t typically take on agents who are new to the business.
Cameron grew up in Jupiter, and his mother was an agent with the Keyes Company. She died suddenly in 2020 of a brain aneurysm, prompting him to move home, according to published reports. He launched his construction business, Image 1 Construction, shortly after that and featured his work in the series “Coming Home with Tyler Cameron,” which premiered on Amazon Prime last year. The show was nominated for a Daytime Emmy Award, according to published reports. He has also appeared in “Good on Paper,” “Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test,” “The Real Dirty Dancing,” and on Kim Kardashian’s episode of “Saturday Night Live.”
Serhant launched his namesake brokerage in 2020, and expanded into Florida in 2023. Since then he has been rapidly expanding, opening the Jupiter office last year, according to published reports. He has offices in Delray Beach and Miami, and signed a lease for a Palm Beach office earlier this month, shortly after recruiting top island agent Gary Pohrer.
Serhant, who gained fame as an agent on “Million Dollar Listing New York,” made his return to reality television last year with “Owning Manhattan.”
Asked if a Florida-focused show with Cameron could be in the cards, Serhant said, “All I can say is there’s a lot in the works.”
