The biggest coffee chain in the world just took the “secret” out of its secret menu.

Starbucks’ secret menu has been around for a long time, but now it’s officially endorsed by the coffee company — meaning it’s no longer a secret.
The first four official “secret menu” drinks can be found in the “offers” tab of the chain’s app, which will regularly feature new beverage customizations.
For years, there have been countless discussions on Reddit and other social media platforms telling people how to order off-menu creations that taste like a Thin Mint, Butterbeer, cotton candy and more. There’s a whole website dedicated to the endeavor.
But now, the following not-so-secret menu items are available in the Starbucks app:
- Cookies on top: Take Cold Brew, add two pumps of vanilla syrup and top with Vanilla Sweet Cream Cold Foam and cookie crumble.
- Dragonfruit glow-up: Take Mango Dragonfruit Lemonade Refresher and combine it with peach juice blend, and top it with Vanilla Sweet Cream Cold Foam.
- Lemon, tea & pearls: Boba-fy your Arnold Palmer by adding raspberry-flavored popping pearls to a black tea and lemonade.
- Just add white mocha: Take an Iced Brown Sugar Oatmilk Shaken Espresso, add two pumps of White Chocolate Mocha Sauce and top it with Vanilla Sweet Cream Cold Foam.
Starbucks’ secret menu contest
Alongside these new drinks, Starbucks is running a contest where anyone — customers and employees are included — can win cold-hard cash for their creativity. Starting July 14 until July 20, people can enter the secret menu contest with their dreamed-up drinks.
From there, entries will then be narrowed down to four customized drinks that will be featured on Starbucks’ secret menu in the app from Aug. 18 until Aug. 25. The four finalists chosen will each receive a $5,000 prize.
Then, from Aug. 18 until Aug. 20, fans can vote for their favorite on Starbucks’ Instagram. The winner of the grand prize will receive an additional $25,000. Find all the rules here.
