Alexanders list waterfront Miami Beach house for rent for $55K a month

A waterfront Miami Beach home owned by disgraced agent Oren Alexander hit the rental market for $55,000 a month.

The 4,267-square-foot house at 1611 West 24th Street on the Sunset Islands is listed with the Corcoran Group’s Isaac Lustgarten, who worked closely with Alexander. It hit the market last week.

Alexander’s 1611 W 24 LLC paid $9.8 million for the four-bedroom, four-and-a-half-bathroom house in 2021, records show. The house, built in 1938, appears to have been recently renovated. It’s on Sunset Island III, one island away from Alexander’s homesteaded property.

Lustgarten, who worked with Alexander for years at Official Partners and before at Douglas Elliman, did not respond to a request for comment. Neither did attorneys for Alexander.

Alexander, his twin brother Alon and their older brother Tal Alexander are being held in jail on federal sex trafficking charges in New York. Their trial is expected to start early next year. The three brothers were arrested in Miami Beach and Bal Harbour in December.

In 2022, during their reign as top real estate agents, Oren and Tal Alexander launched Official, a Side-backed brokerage in Miami and New York, with their partners. Alon Alexander, who worked as an executive for the family’s private security firm Kent Security, and Oren Alexander were also charged with sexual battery by Miami-Dade State Attorney Katherine Fernandez Rundle’s office. The brothers are also being sued by women who allege they were drugged and sexually assaulted by them.

The Alexander brothers have denied the allegations and pleaded not guilty to the criminal charges.

Also, Side sued Oren and Tal Alexander, alleging the brothers hadn’t made payments on a $5 million loan the firm provided to launch Official after they left Douglas Elliman. Attorneys for the brothers recently reached a confidential settlement with the white label firm, which provided broker and back-end support to Official.

The Real Deal previously reported that the Alexander family was quietly shopping some of their Miami Beach properties, including Oren Alexander’s homesteaded property at 2135 Lake Avenue on Sunset Island IV. Their father, spec home developer Shlomy Alexander, showed the home to potential buyers, and the family was seeking more than $50 million for the waterfront house, sources said.

A judge in one of the civil lawsuits, filed by an anonymous woman, recently ruled that the accuser must reveal her identity to the public if she wants to continue to pursue the lawsuit, Gothamist reported. Jane Doe is alleging that Alon and Tal Alexander drugged and raped her.
