A former investor in the esports company Echo Fox secured a buyer for his waterfront spec home on the Venetian Islands, topping last week’s signed contracts report.
The ex-investor, Amit Raizada, is also the founder and CEO of Foothill Ranch, California-based Spectrum Business Ventures. A company led by Raizada is selling the 7,129-square-foot house at 240 West Rivo Alto Drive in Miami Beach. It has five bedrooms, five full bathrooms and one half-bathroom, according to previously reported plans for the quarter-acre property. Douglas Elliman agent Dina Goldentayer has the listing. The property is on the market for nearly $21 million.
Fourteen contracts were marked in the Multiple Listing Service between Jan. 27 and Feb. 2. The Eklund-Gomes report tracks listings of properties asking $4 million and up countywide.
Inventory also increased by 44 new luxury listings, for a total of 1,293 listings.
The asking dollar volume for the seven single-family homes and seven condos totals $112.2 million, according to the report, which is authored by the Douglas Elliman star-studded team led by Fredrik Eklund and John Gomes.
The single-family homes that entered into contract last week had an average asking price of about $8.4 million and spent an average of 108 days on the market. They totaled $59 million in asking dollar volume.
The condos that secured buyers last week had an average asking price of $7.6 million and spent 157 days on the market, on average. They totaled $53.3 million in asking dollar volume. Four of the seven condo contracts are for units in new condo projects, according to the report.
At the top of the condo component of the report is penthouse S-04 at Vita at Grove Isle in Miami’s Coconut Grove. The four-bedroom, five-and-a-half-bathroom unit will span nearly 5,900 square feet once completed. The waterfront development is under construction and is expected to be completed at the end of this year. Ugo Colombo’s CMC Group is developing the project. Cervera Real Estate’s Veronica Cervera Goeseke has the $19.5 million listing for the two-story penthouse.
The unit will have its own private pool, rooftop garden and summer kitchen.
The previous week, buyers signed contracts for 18 properties in Miami-Dade, asking a combined $120.8 million.
Last week in New York, buyers signed contracts for 22 homes, according to the latest Olshan report. Their combined asking price was $193 million, and the typical home spent 804 days on the market.
