Comic Joe Flaherty, a founding member of the Canadian sketch collection “SCTV,” has died. He was 82.
His daughter Gudrun claimed Tuesday that Flaherty died Monday following a brief health issues.
Flaherty, who was born in Pittsburgh, expended seven decades at The Next Metropolis in Chicago in advance of transferring north of the border to assistance build the theater’s Toronto outpost.
