MIAMI — Rescue divers are presently browsing the Miami River right after a gentleman went overboard from a charter boat on Saturday afternoon.
Miami Fire Rescue informed CBS Information Miami’s Nikiya Carrero that they obtained the call about 2:30 p.m. in close proximity to the place of North River Drive and Northwest 3rd Avenue on the Miami River.
In accordance to MFR, a 48-foot-extended charter boat was coming again in when a single of the male travellers went overboard when it stopped. The U.S. Coast Guard was then referred to as in with a dive team and hearth boat to consider to discover the gentleman.
To start with responding divers searched the area for about an hour but they couldn’t discover the guy. The look for attempts ended up then searched over to the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, and upgraded the efforts from a rescue to a restoration.
