Reports say Russell Model interviewed by British police above promises of sexual offenses

Comic Russell Brand has been interviewed by British police around a few alleged sexual offenses, U.K. media documented Sunday.

The Sunday Times and BBC claimed Brand, 48, was interviewed final week at a London police station.

Without the need of naming Brand name, the Metropolitan Law enforcement pressure said that “a person in his 40s attended a law enforcement station in south London on Thursday November 16, 2023. He was interviewed less than warning by detectives in relation to 3 non-latest sexual offenses. Inquiries carry on.”

British law enforcement do not identify suspects who have not been arrested and billed. “Less than caution” indicates the job interview was recorded and can be applied in future prosecutions.

In September, the Times and Sunday Periods newspapers and broadcaster Channel 4 reported 4 females experienced made allegations of sexual assault against Brand name. They dated from the period in between 2006 and 2013, when Manufacturer was a significant star in Britain with a increasing U.S. profile.

He denies all the statements, stating his interactions have been “always consensual.”

Serious allegations have been leveled towards Russell Model.

Two U.K. police forces, the Metropolitan Police and Thames Valley Police, released investigations into Model right after the statements were being revealed.

Brand name was dropped by his talent agent and publisher after the allegations grew to become general public, and a sequence of live dates was canceled.

The BBC and other media firms he experienced labored for have introduced assessments into his conduct and their response.

Acknowledged for his unbridled and risqué standup routines, Manufacturer hosted displays on radio and television, wrote memoirs charting his battles with medicine and alcohol, appeared in quite a few Hollywood flicks and was briefly married to pop star Katy Perry involving 2010 and 2012.

In the latest many years, Brand has mainly disappeared from mainstream media but has built up a big following on-line with films mixing wellness and conspiracy theories.
