Guess who’s again? Yup, Boston’s own Ben Affleck.
The freshly-minted Dunkin’ pitchman is currently appearing in his second industrial for the coffee-and-donut chain, right after his first Tremendous Bowl spot, also featuring his spouse Jennifer Lopez, gained around-universal praise.
His hottest advertisement, “Ben Runs on Dunkin'” yet again stars Affleck as himself, but this time as a substitute of doing work the travel-through, he’s on the other facet of the counter buying from a nearby Dunkin’ retail outlet.
“I am in this article for the ‘Dunkin’ Run’ campaign commercial. It can be a fantastic offer, large coffee and a donut for a buck,” he starts, in advance of veering into a discussion about acting.
“So I believed it’d be reliable and meta — of course, I’m performing the business, but am I executing the business? You know, I will not do commercials. I am a real actor. This is an artwork sort for me.”
He’s then asked by a Dunkin’ employee about his purpose in the movie “The Departed,” to which he responds “I’m Matt Damon,” a reference to his longtime buddy and co-star in “Very good Will Hunting” and the new movie “Air.”
“I really like him,” a different Dunkin’ employee states.
“Mmmmm… ah…,” Affleck replies, shaking his head. “I mean, some of his perform.”
