‘Heartbroken’ Keanu Reeves Mourns Dying of ‘John Wick’ Co-Star Lance Reddick


Keanu Reeves is having to pay tribute to his late “John Wick” co-star, Lance Reddick.

The actor died at age 60 on March 17 from organic causes, his rep explained to E! Information. Subsequent news of his passing, Reeves and John Wick director Chad Stahelski launched a statement to Selection.

“We are deeply saddened and heartbroken at the reduction of our beloved buddy and colleague Lance Reddick,” they wrote. “He was the consummate specialist and a pleasure to perform with.”

The statement continued, “Our really like and prayers are with his wife Stephanie, his children, spouse and children and pals. We dedicate the film to his loving memory. We will miss him dearly.”

On Twitter March 18, Stephanie Reddick shared a thank you message to fans who expressed their condolences. “Lance was taken from us considerably far too quickly,” she wrote on her husband’s account. “Thank you for your overpowering love, help and stunning tales shared on these platforms about the last day. I see your messages and cannot start to categorical how grateful I am to have them.”

Reddick starred in “The Wire,” “Bosch,” Netflix’s “Resident Evil” and the “John Wick” movies.
