POMPANO Beach front – Sidney Holmes, who served 34 yrs of a 400-12 months jail sentence for armed theft expenses walked cost-free Monday after currently being exonerated.
Holmes, 57, sat down with CBS News Miami’s Chelsea Jones at Pompano Beach, a put he is been dying to see for above three a long time.
The two talked about the anger he felt when he was convicted in April of 1989 for a 1988 theft in which he was accused of getting the getaway driver.
Holmes unveiled, at the time, he was in university to get the job done in the health care field and had a seven-thirty day period-aged daughter. He shed every little thing.
Now, Holmes is hoping to reconnect with his daughter and his five grandchildren. He also has desires of becoming a felony justice advocate and proudly owning a business.
