FORT LAUDERDALE – An investigation is underway just after a carjacking and a shooting involving a Broward sheriff’s deputy near Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood Intercontinental Airport.
In accordance to the sheriff’s business office, the taking pictures took place all around 5 a.m. close to the 1400 block and North Perimeter Street. They did not say what led to it.
Adhering to the taking pictures, the sheriff’s place of work mentioned the “subject matter carjacked a Broward County shuttle bus, removing the bus operator, and subsequently fled the location.” There have been no passengers on the bus at the time.
The airport posted on Twitter that due to the sheriff’s investigation “a part of North Perimeter Highway west of 4th Avenue in Fort Lauderdale stays shut till further detect. Motorists should really avoid the region and seek out other routes into the airport.”
