MIAMI — A Miami gentleman has been arrested following he allegedly made threats on social media when keeping an AK-47 to harm a Miami-Dade Law enforcement Department officer, officers said Tuesday.

Vernon E.. Kelson, 22, is going through a host of costs, which includes producing written threats to eliminate or cause bodily damage, working with or exhibiting a firearm even though committing a felony and overtly carrying a weapon, according to the law enforcement arrest farm.
“I will not tolerate anyone, in any way, to threaten my officers or any person bearing the badge on their chest,” law enforcement Director Freddy Ramirez mentioned in the statement. “I will make out there all of the sources of the Miami-Dade Law enforcement Section to bring these people today to justice.”
Police mentioned they figured out of Kelson’s threats when examining the social media posts “from a regarded account” joined to a prior police investigation.
Officers did not disclose the character of the prior police investigation.
Investigators saw a video on the social submit that allegedly confirmed Kelson in a shifting car or truck as he displayed the assault rifle and as the car or truck handed a marked police cruiser.
Police explained the subject then produced threats to hurt the officer if the vehicle he was in was stopped.
