Miami Law enforcement Main Manny Morales speaks out about the latest allegations

MIAMI – Metropolis of Miami Police Chief Manny Morales broke his silence Tuesday, saying he experienced to speak out about allegations that he experienced been applying his place to open up investigations to goal staff and affect the end result of investigations.

Morales testified ahead of the Miami Civil Support Board and claimed, “I am self-confident that there was not any retaliation.”

South Florida PBA Lawyer Griska Mena is representing Lt. Brandon Lanier and Officer Wanda Jean Baptiste. They say they ended up suspended and transferred to other duties following reporting about racism and corruption.

Lanier also testified right before the Civil Company Board, stating there was a sample of how he was treated unfairly.

Lanier had been Director of Inner Affairs right up until he was transferred to responsibilities in Overtown in January of last year and then shift to patrol in October.

Morales reported he had been “guide astray” by the past administration and even unsuccessful to go to meetings. Morales stated he shed faith in Lanier’s capability.

The PBA Lawyer stated that a selection of subpoenas for persons to testify had not been served.
