Selena Gomez and Kieran Culkin making “SNL” cameos together? Oh!
The pop star made not 1 but two surprise appearances on NBC’s “Saturday Evening Stay,” reuniting with her “Only Murders in the Making” co-stars Steve Martin and Martin Small, who hosted the NBC sketch sequence. Selena joined the comedy legends onstage throughout their opening monologue and also starred in 1 of the show’s themed sketches—a parody sequel of “Father of the Bride.”
On the “SNL” spoof of the strike ’90s comedy films, the “Arrive and Get It” singer performed herself…the marriage ceremony singer, who will come with a significant price. Steve and Martin reprised their roles of patriarch George Banking institutions and wedding ceremony planner Franck Eggelhoffer.
The skit also showcased a cameo from Kieran, another original “Father of the Bride” cast member. The previous baby star, now recognised for enjoying Roman Roy on the HBO series “Succession,” reprised his role as the bride’s minimal brother Matty Banking institutions.
The sketch, designed to glance like “Father of the Bride” Aspect 8, also starred “SNL” cast members Heidi Gardner as the bride, Chloe Fineman as Diane Keaton’s character Nina Financial institutions and Bowen Yang as Franck’s partner Howard.
