Miami-Dade no-swim advisory lifted


MIAMI – Miami-Dade County’s Water and Sewer Department announces that the no-swim advisory issued on Monday, Nov. 21, has been now lifted in its entirety. 

Sampling results of Shrimper’s Lagoon, the remaining locale even now underneath advisory, are now compliant and signs will be taken off. 

The no-swim advisory was initially issued owing to a wastewater overflow from the Miami-Dade H2o and Sewer Department’s Central District Wastewater Therapy Plant, which impacted Virginia Key Beach front and Out of doors Center, Crandon Seashore, Critical Biscayne Beach front, and Invoice Baggs Cape Florida Condition Park.
