FORT LAUDERDALE — A Port Everglades employee was killed when loading a container on a ship in Southport, officials mentioned Friday.
A spokesperson for the port instructed CBS 4 that the Broward County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the deadly incident, which transpired all around 8:30 p.m.
Officials did not quickly determine the worker or offer facts on how the incident happened.
No other injuries ended up immediately described.
