FORT LAUDERDALE — An officer with the Miami-Dade Police Section has been relieved of obligation and is underneath investigation soon after the officer allegedly fired his gun in the air subsequent a domestic dispute with his spouse at their residence in Dawn, authorities mentioned..

A Broward County choose on Monday ordered Officer Thomas Cedre, 40, to write-up a $3,000 bond and reported he could not have any guns or ammunition in his possession when out on bond.

Miami-Dade law enforcement Cheif Freddy Ramirez claimed he is informed of Cedre’s arrest.

According to a law enforcement report, Cedre is struggling with a cocaine possession demand and recklessly discharging a weapon in community in link with an incident Saturday shortly right after 9 p.m. at their dwelling in Sunrise.

Cedre’s wife informed police that the two argued right after he arrived at their dwelling and was allegedly intoxicated.

The two argued prior to the suspect’s spouse resolved to choose the couple’s two little ones and leave. As she was driving away, the woman instructed police she listened to two pictures remaining fired.

Dawn law enforcement named Cedre and advised him to exit the residence following they spoke to his wife at a nearby 7-Eleven. 

When officers searched his house they located three guns and a “bag of white powder,” according to the law enforcement report.
