Shia LaBeouf suggests he’s transformed to Catholicism.
In a sit down job interview with “Bishop Barron Presents” host Bishop Robert Barron, the actor explained that his most impending performing job in “Padre Pio” set him on the path to conversion.
“It was observing other people today who have sinned further than anything I could at any time conceptualize also staying identified in Christ that produced me truly feel like, ‘Oh, that offers me hope,’” the actor defined. “I started listening to experiences of other depraved men and women who had observed their way in this, and it created me sense like I had authorization.”
Speaking to Barron, the “Honey Boy” actor disclosed that to phase into the shoes of the biopic’s titular character, the late-Christian mystic Padre Pio, he started to just take section in the Catholic Church. To begin, he moved into a monastery of Franciscan Capuchin friars.
“When I walked into this, my lifetime was on fireplace,” LaBeouf explained in the job interview. “I was going for walks down a hill. LaBeouf denied the accusations “generally and especially.”

LaBeouf did not touch on any accusations or authorized trials for the duration of his job interview with Barron. He did, even so, specific that just before filming the biopic, he seasoned a deep feeling of isolation.
