Denver Bright Back at Elliman, PropertyForce Promotes CEO

Sports and entertainment agent Denver Bright returned to Douglas Elliman after four years with Compass. Bright joined the Senada Adzem team at Elliman.

Bright first joined Elliman in 2013 and left in 2016 for Compass. His clients have included former Miami Heat player Mario Chalmers and minority Heat investor Ranaan Katz. Adzem’s team was recently ranked the top small team nationwide at Elliman.

Hallandale Beach-based PropertyForce promoted Neil Solomon to president and CEO of the virtual real estate firm, replacing Oliver Seidler, who founded the company. Solomon joined PropertyForce in 2020 as president, and has worked for City National Bank of Florida in Miami and Sandler O’Neill + Partners in New York.

The Miami-Dade Beacon Council named William Talbert III its interim president and CEO following the unexpected death of the late Michael Finney in early April. Talbert was previously president and CEO of the Greater Miami Convention and Visitors Bureau until he stepped down last year. Talbert will remain until the Beacon Council, Miami-Dade County’s public-private economic development partnership, finds a permanent president and CEO. Talbert is also a consultant for the GMCVB.

Katz & Associates brought on Robert “Sonny” Nuchereno in its Boca Raton office to work on tenant and landlord representation.

Carpe Real Estate Partners’ David Weitz was named chairman of the board for the Wynwood Business Improvement District. Carpe developed the Oasis in Wynwood and is developing Wynwood Plaza, which will include 266,000 square feet of office space, 32,000 square feet of retail space and more than 500 apartments.

West Palm Beach-based Two Roads Development tapped Lawrence Pecan as deputy general counsel. Pecan was recently associate general counsel at Sunny Isles development firm Dezer Development, led by Michael and Gil Dezer.

Ken Morris joined JLL as senior vice president of industrial brokerage services in South Florida. Morris led his brokerage and property management firm called Morris Southeast Group, which he purchased from his father in the early 2000s.

Blanca Commercial Real Estate, led by founder and CEO Tere Blanca, tapped Brian Gitlin to be chief operating officer.

JLL’s capital markets team in Miami promoted three associates to directors in Florida and the Southeast: Cody Brais, Kenny Cutler and Max La Cava.

Black Lion, led by Robert Rivani, hired Patrick Khoury as chief development officer. Khoury has closed more than $1 billion worth of real estate deals in Florida and will oversee Black Lion’s projects in Miami, according to a press release. Khoury was previously senior vice president of commercial real estate at City National Bank of Florida.
