MIAMI (CBSMiami) – A man had to be transported to a local hospital following a shooting in Fort Lauderdale on Tuesday afternoon.
Fort Lauderdale Fire Rescue responded to the 3000 block of NE 32nd Avenue, where they found a man suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.
The condition of the man, who was not immediately identified, is not known.
There were several police cruisers at the scene of the shooting.

Police did not say what may have led to the shooting or if they had anyone in custody.
The investigation continues.
