FORT LAUDERDALE (CBSMiami) – A body was found in a beach parking lot in Fort Lauderdale early Friday morning.
It was on the ground next to a black pick-up truck at 800 Seabreeze Boulevard.

Fort Lauderdale police were notified of the body shortly after midnight.

The parking lot is within walking distance of the beach and is usually used by beachgoers.

It’s not clear who found the body or how long it had been in the parking lot.
