MIAMI (AP) — Ryan Weathers struck out a job-large 10 in advance of departing simply because of cramps in his remaining hand, and the Miami Marlins defeat the San Francisco Giants 6-3 on Tuesday night.
Weathers (2-1) permitted two runs and 5 hits in six innings. The remaining-hander warmed up for the seventh, but was replaced by Burch Smith.
Luis Arraez had two hits and two RBIs for the Marlins, who improved to 4-14. Josh Bell also experienced two hits and scored a run.
Miami can generate its initial series win of the year with a victory on Tuesday evening.
Matt Chapman homered for San Francisco, which experienced won two of 3. Jordan Hicks permitted two operates and 3 hits in five innings.
Miami went in advance to keep with a few operates in the sixth in opposition to Ryan Walker (1-2) and Taylor Rogers. Bell scampered household when Tim Anderson bounced into a fielder’s alternative. Arraez then produced it 5-2 with a two-operate single.
