TAVERNIER — A compact helicopter carrying two travellers crashed in the Florida Keys on Saturday afternoon, the Federal Aviation Administration confirmed to CBS Information Miami.
In accordance to the FAA, an MTO Sport helicopter carrying two men and women crashed on a private airstrip around Tavernier on Plantation Key all-around 2:10 p.m. The problems of the two passengers are unidentified at this time.
The FAA told CBS News Miami that they and the Countrywide Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) are investigating the situation surrounding the crash.
