MIAMI – The City of Opa-locka voted Friday to make interim Town Manager Darvin Williams their official town supervisor.
Out of 98 candidates, a few finalists had been chosen.
In advance of the commission voted, the public had their say about whom they wished to see in the placement.
“He get in touch with residents. He verify on us,” claimed a person resident.
“I consider it would be an abomination to get rid of the town supervisor. I feel he is undertaking a really excellent position. Apparently, all of y’all don’t feel that way,” said Alfonso Irvin, a resident.
“I can tell you, I am Opa-locka, Mr Williams is Opa-locka,” explained Kenneth Ottley, the Opa-locka police chief.
People, business enterprise proprietors and the police chief showed up and explained Williams required the long lasting place.
People today say he has revealed up for them considering the fact that he assumed the posture of interim town supervisor.
That incorporated people of Glorieta Gardens Apartments who have confronted challenges like flooding, mold and deplorable living problems.
