Comedian Larry David appeared to get into a heated argument with “Tonight Demonstrate” host Jimmy Fallon through one of the show’s comedic skits Saturday night time.

This all occurred in the course of the “Tonight Show”‘s chilly open, when David, 76, appeared to channel his “Control Your Enthusiasm” character while chatting with Fallon about New York City’s well-known Katz’s Delicatessen corn beef.

“I like the corned beef there,” David tells Fallon. “It is really fantastic,” Fallon replies.

Nonetheless, seemingly unamused by David’s conversation, Fallon abruptly interrupts David and stops “The Roots” direct singer Tariq “Black Thought” Trotter, by the arm in the hallway and asks him if he has tried using the beef as well.

“Yeah, yeah, if I am gonna have corned beef I am gonna get from Katz’s,” Trotter replies.

Then, in standard “Curb Your Enthusiasm,” manner, David confronts Fallon if he seriously pulled a “chat-and-seize” on him.

“Are you kidding, you did a chat-and-grab, you you should not think I just noticed what just happened right here?” David jokingly confronts Fallon.

As Fallon stands bewildered, David reiterates Fallon pulled Trotter in so he could escape the dull dialogue with him.

“You experienced nothing at all to converse about with me, so you noticed a good friend come by… you grabbed the buddy so you could chat with him,” David teases Fallon. “It truly is the definition of a grab-and-chat.”

“I didn’t seize and chat!” Fallon refutes.

Right after a transient back and forth, equally comedians confess to carrying out the “chat-and-seize” ahead of and concur to shift past the awkward trade.
