MIAMI – South Florida regulation enforcement officers have announced, that they will be patrolling South Florida roadways and highways searching for impaired motorists.
“Impaired driving is a serious dilemma in Florida. The Florida Impaired Driving Strategic Program was made by the Florida Department of Transportation and the Florida Impaired Driving Coalition, setting up a coordinated prepare addressing impaired driving problems in Florida,” police reported.
Officers introduced that Miami-Dade County ranks 8th on the Florida Section of Transportation Freeway Protection Matrix for impaired driving.
Law enforcement stated they will be conducting “specialized substantial visibility enforcement and Driving Less than the Affect Checkpoints” to handle impaired driving.
The “Drive Sober or Get Pulled Above marketing campaign” will be in effect by way of September 30 of the present-day yr.
The purpose, officials explained, is to raise safety and reduce the amount of accidents and fatalities.
