Authorities in the Dominican Republic have arrested U.S. rapper Tekashi 6ix9ine, who is scheduled to appear in courtroom on Thursday on costs of domestic violence.

The rapper, whose genuine identify is Daniel Hernández, is staying held at a jail in the funds of Santo Domingo, exactly where he was arrested Wednesday, officers said.

No more facts had been promptly readily available, and it was not instantly apparent if Hernández has an attorney.

In an special job interview with NBC6’s Sheli Muñiz, rapper Tekashi 6ix9ine is talking out soon after staying attacked in a South Florida gymnasium lavatory.

A judge on Thursday is envisioned to determine whether the rapper will remain driving bars or be freed on bond as the investigation proceeds.

The arrest is Hernández’s latest brush with the legislation.

He was arrested at a seaside resort in the Dominican Republic in October following being accused of assaulting a regional audio producer. Hernández and his partner, a Dominican rapper known as Yailín la Más Viral, had been recording at the producer’s studio.

Last month, Yailín la Más Viral, whose serious title is Jeorjina Guillermo-Diaz, was arrested in Palm Beach front County on battery and other charges after she allegedly attacked Hernández and ruined his Bentley.

The girlfriend of rapper Tekashi 6ix9ine was arrested for allegedly attacking the rapper.

Hernández was also previously accused in the U.S. of utilizing a violent gang as a “private strike squad,” but he averted jail immediately after delivering testimony from the Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods, which work in the U.S. East Coastline.

In March 2023, he was assaulted by several people at a fitness center in South Florida.

Tekashi 6ix9ine experienced a multiplatinum hit music, “Fefe,” with Nicki Minaj in 2018. It peaked at No. 3 on the pop charts.
