OAKLAND PARK — A man or woman is lifeless following a standoff with law enforcement in Broward County on Wednesday afternoon.
All over 2:47 p.m., the Broward Sherriff’s Office was notified of a deputy-associated shooting around the 800 block of East Prospect Highway in Oakland Park.
Preliminary investigations disclosed that BSO’s Oakland Park District Crime Suppression Workforce was searching for a domestic violence suspect.
Deputies manufactured contact with the personal and pursuing a standoff, a confrontation happened that led officers to hearth their weapons. The suspect died on the scene.
BSO is presently investigating the situation bordering the incident.
