WESTON – A Florida Highway Patrol trooper was hurt Tuesday early morning soon after being concerned in a crash on I-75 around Indian Trace.
According to the FHP, the trooper was heading west when a “reckless” driver in a black Porsche slammed into the rear of his marked patrol car or truck.

Following the crash, the FHP mentioned the driver of the Porsche deserted the automobile and ran off on foot.
Several legislation enforcement agencies assisted in location up a perimeter and the driver was taken into custody shortly afterward. He was taken to the close by Cleveland Clinic for professional medical procedure. He will be taken to jail as soon as cleared from the healthcare facility.
According to court docket information, the driver of the Porsche has experienced a number of prior arrests, together with for domestic violence, bogus imprisonment, tampering with a witness, battery, stalking, and some visitors connected offenses.
The FHP said the trooper had non-existence-threatening injuries.
