MIAMI – The Florida Freeway Patrol is investigating a capturing that occurred on northbound State Street 826, in close proximity to Okeechobee Highway.
It occurred early Monday morning, shortly right after midnight.
The Florida Highway Patrol states an unknown motor vehicle pulled alongside a black Mercedes SUV when “an occupant in the mysterious automobile started to discharge a firearm, hanging the Mercedes quite a few occasions.”
When troopers got to the scene, they discovered a lot of bullet holes on the driver’s facet of the victim’s car or truck and a male in the driver’s seat of the auto with a gunshot wound to the proper leg.
A tourniquet was applied on the victim’s right leg and then he was airlifted to Jackson South Ryder Trauma.
