FORT LAUDERDALE – A man is in custody following a Broward Sheriff’s SWAT problem at an Oakland Park hotel.
It occurred at the Fort Lauderdale Grand Hotel on NW 9th Avenue, near the intersection of Commercial Boulevard and Powerline Road.
In accordance to the sheriff’s business office, they bought a call just in advance of 1 a.m. of a capturing at the resort.
Arriving deputies set up a perimeter and, although on scene, various photographs were being fired out of a window at the lodge in their way. No 1 was struck.
The sheriff’s workplace stated a SWAT crew was sent to the hotel together with associates of the department’s Violent Crimes and Criminal offense Scene Device.
Pursuing a standoff and additional rounds fired by the capturing suspect, SWAT was capable to properly acquire him into custody. Â
