MIAMI – Miami Marlins supervisor Skip Schumaker has been chosen as the 2023 Nationwide League Manager of the Yr in his initial time taking care of the club.
Schumaker, 43, is the fourth Marlins manager to receive the honor.
Schumaker also will become the 10th manager in MLB history to be named Supervisor of the Yr in his first complete year at the helm.
The 11-year MLB veteran and two-time Planet Collection winner introduced the club its fourth Postseason physical appearance in club heritage and 1st in a complete year considering the fact that 2003 as he guided his staff to an 84-78 report this time.
The 2023 Marlins set a franchise record for wins prior to the All-Star crack and concluded the time matching the fourth-most wins in 31 years of Marlins baseball to protected the next National League Wild Card seed.
