MIAMI — The dry weather in South Florida will give way to stray showers in Florida Friday afternoon.

CBS News Miami meteorologist Lissette Gonzalez mentioned it will be warm with substantial temperatures anticipated to major out in the small 90s before the chance of rain returns.
“In the afternoon we could see a several stray showers,” she explained, adding that precipitation possibilities increase throughout the night. “Rain creating about the Everglades could transfer back eastward.”
The possibility for scattered storms lingers more than the weekend.
The higher temperature on Saturday will rise to 90s with spotty storms in the afternoon and evening attainable.
