FORT LAUDERDALE — The Fort Lauderdale Law enforcement Division is asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect associated in a Friday night sexual battery and theft case.
In accordance to FLPD, the incident transpired close to 7:30 p.m. in the area of 5970 NE 18th Ave., where preliminary investigation revealed that the victim was inside of her bedroom in her condominium when the assailant entered by way of the front doorway, went into her room and jumped on prime of her.
The suspect, who was armed, threatened to kill her ahead of sexually battering her and fleeing the condominium northbound down the hallway.
In accordance to FLPD, the suspect is explained to be a Black male in his 30s, who is about 6′ or taller with neck-length dreadlocks, a clean up-shaven facial area and a muscular build.
Detectives are inquiring for any one who has found a man fitting the description to make contact with FLPD right away, and asking close by residents and firms to check out their surveillance cameras to see if they captured the suspect on video.
