Florida alligator with best 50 % of its jaw lacking safely rescued


SANFORD FLORIDA — An alligator with the top rated 50 percent of its jaw missing was rescued Thursday evening in Florida immediately after photos of it circulated across social media.

The environmental firm Bear Warriors United gained this image of the injured alligator from 1 of its associates.

The alligator was spotted at Wilson’s Landing Park in Sanford, Florida but it got away.

Alligator trappers had been capable to properly seize the injured alligator on Thursday night.

The firm thinks the alligator was hurt by a snare lure in a unsuccessful poaching try.

They say they are operating to get the traps banned in Florida.

The Florida Wildlife Commission, who was referred to as in to assistance rescue the alligator, has not responded to a request for remark.
