FORT LAUDERDALE – Cassandritz Blanc was sentenced to a few lifetime prison phrases Wednesday for killing his pregnant wife and his father-in-law.
Blanc supplied an apology to the family of his victims.
“My text never modify just about anything, but I am sorry,” he claimed.
It was minor consolation to the family members he shattered five yrs ago.
Back again in June 2018, Blanc confessed to killing his pregnant wife Martine Bernard and his father-in-regulation Roosevelt Bernard.
Right after sentencing, Martine Bernard’s brother mirrored on her quick lifestyle.
Martine Bernard was 20 yrs aged and six months pregnant when she was killed.
“She was charismatic, loving….the one particular to make us chortle,” claimed Roosevelt Bernard, Jr.
He also paid out tribute to his father’s silent toughness and resilience. Roosevelt Bernard Senior is remembered as a household man who overcame adversity and built large sacrifices for his relatives.
“He just often experienced us alongside one another as a unit. I didn’t understand it. He was my hero,” said Bernard Jr.
It was June 2018, when the horror occurred.
Cassandritz Blanc confessed to the killings throughout a Hollywood police interrogation just after 1st concocting outlandish situations.
Blanc ultimately said he shot his pregnant wife for disrespecting him. He tried to dismember her human body and later shot his father-in-law at his residence and then tried using to set the human body on fire in a field.
By pleading guilty, Blanc averted a prolonged demo and possible a demise sentence.
“As much as his apology, it does not matter. It does not improve what he did,” claimed Roosevelt Bernard Jr.
