Drew Barrymore exits phase in NYC as male tells her ‘You know who I am’


Drew Barrymore’s evening in New York City took a horrifying turn.

As observed in footage posted to social media, the chat show host was conducting a conversation with Reneé Rapp for the duration of an event at The 92nd Road Y on Aug. 21 when a male rushed the stage.

The incident began when an audience member referred to as out Barrymore’s identify in the middle of her chat with the “Sexual intercourse Life of University Girls” star, creating the “Charlie’s Angels” actress to pause her sentence and reply, “Oh my god, certainly, hello!”

Then, as Barrymore attempted to continue on her chat with Rapp, the problem escalated as an attendee approached the stage and appeared to inform Barrymore his full identify.

“You know who I am,” he explained, as Rapp stood up to escort Barrymore securely away and security stepped in to block the gentleman from finding any nearer. “I need to have to see you at some place while you might be in New York.”

E! Information has reached out to reps for Barrymore, the 92Y and the New York Law enforcement Section for remark and has not listened to back again.

Barrymore — who has not yet publicly dealt with the incident — was at the 92Y function to talk about Rapp’s debut LP “Snow Angel,” which was just produced on Aug. 18.

And though the duo quickly exited the phase, audience users confirmed they returned to complete their chat.

“Both of those managed it like bosses,” journalist McKenzie Morrell wrote on X, formally recognised as Twitter, on Aug. 22, “and recovered quickly to proceed an great discussion.”
