MIAMI – A South Florida woman is behind bars Friday immediately after becoming accused of killing her spouse.
Aimee Martinez is struggling with 1st-degree murder rates.
Police say the 35-year-old shot and killed her huband, within their residence in Kendall back in 2019.
Martinez advised investigators that she was acting in self-defense.
But law enforcement say the evidence at the crime scene did not match her claims of what happened.
Martinez was arrested Thursday.
