TROPICS – After Bret dissipated into an open tropical wave in excess of the Caribbean Saturday, Tropical Storm Cindy stays the only tropical storm throughout the Atlantic Basin.
Cindy continues to weaken as it battles westerly wind shear to its north. Cindy will weaken additional as it moves northwestward, exactly where it will at some point dissipate by late Monday in advance of at any time reaching Bermuda.
The remainder of the tropics remains peaceful, with no new tropical programs expected for at minimum the following seven days.
