MIAMI — Protestors marched from Miami’s Flexibility Tower to the Torch of Friendship Saturday early morning.
They are protesting Senate Bill 17-18, which calls for corporations with 25 or more workforce to use the “E-Verify” method to check employees’ immigration status.
Protestors say the regulation will force lots of employees to leave the state, top to worker shortages in numerous industries.
The law would also demand hospitals to talk to about immigration position. It requires impact July 1st.
