MIAMI — Police in Doral shot and killed a person who confronted officers following a home invasion early Saturday, authorities mentioned.
The gentleman, who was not instantly discovered, died at the scene all over 5:30 a.m., according to a written statement by the police. The department also did not promptly recognize the officers associated in the incident.
Law enforcement ended up known as to the Amli apartments, at NW 41st Avenue, at 4:20 a.m. for a house invasion report, in accordance to the assertion. An elderly pair and a middle aged gentleman were being in the household at the time of the incident, investigators stated.
It was not very clear if they were harm in the course of the incident.
According to law enforcement, the suspect returned to the scene shortly just before 5:30 a.m. and confronted the officers, who opened fireplace on the gentleman.
Investigators did not say if the male was armed or if he realized the men and women inside the property.
It was not obvious if the officers concerned would be placed on adminstrative go away though the incident is under investigation.
