POMPANO Beach front — A pedestrian was fatally struck by a Brightline coach in Broward County on Friday early morning and investigators have shut down targeted visitors encompassing the scene.
About 7:24 a.m., Broward County Sheriff’s deputies and Pompano Beach Fireplace Rescue responded to a crash involving a Brightline coach and a pedestrian in the area of Northwest 6th Street and North Dixie Freeway in Pompano Beach.
The victim was pronounced useless at the scene, according to a push release from Broward County Sheriff’s Office.
Broward County’s Targeted visitors Murder Device was notified and is actively investigating the dying.
As the investigation proceeds, the northbound lanes of North Dixie Highway involving Northeast 3rd and Northeast 6th Streets are shut down.
