MIAMI – A female has been billed in a shooting on Thursday at the Mall of Americas in Miami.
It began when Miguel Menedez-Linares bought into an argument with Leonor Rodriguez, 60, in the parking good deal of the shopping mall at 7827 W Flagler Street.
During the struggle, Rodriguez “grew to become irate” immediately after he made some vulgar remarks toward her, according to the arrest report.
Rodriguez then referred to as an not known man or woman and stayed on the telephone with them. A crimson Toyota then pulled up and the driver bought out. Rodriguez then allegedly pointed out Menendez-Linares to him as they two continued to argue.
The driver reportedly went back to his vehicle, grabbed a gun, and fired six occasions at Menendez-Linares who was struck after in the arm.
A witness “heard the defendant yelling ‘tiralo tiralo’ which translates to shoot him in English as the subject matter was firing,” according to the arrest report.
The driver then went again to his car or truck and drove off.
According to law enforcement, Rodriguez took a seat in a chair and waited for officers to get there.
In the course of questioning, she invoked her appropriate not to talk without having a law firm current.
She’s been charged with attempted murder.
